Manchester United have signed Feyenoord left-back Tyrell Malaysia to an initial four-year contract with an option to extend for another year. The 22-year-old will be Erik Ten Hagg's first signing since taking over as manager in May. The Dutch international was ready to join Lyon before United stole the contract 11 hours later.
Lyon are in talks with Malaysian side Feyenoord and have agreed to a €13m down payment and a €2m surcharge. The French team looked to close the deal last Tuesday but the offer was offset by Manchester United's initial offer of €15m. 17 million euros. Regarding his move, Malesia said:
